Module Indicative Content
This module enables the development of a range of methods for small batch production. A variety of processes such as vac-forming, jigs, die forming, casting, and moulding techniques will be employed. Through the appllication of problem solving skills and innovative methods the student will investigate the creation of affordable products, and examine the role that multiples play for the professional designer maker. The student is expected to consider costing and quality as well as relevance to marketplace.

Negotiation with staff regarding your personal programme for the design and execution of applied art multiples.
Carrying out the design and execution of craftwork to a negotiated brief.
Presentations to both staff and peers during group and individual critiques of work in progress and on completion.
