Non specialist computer facilities for e-mail, internet access, word processing, database, spreadsheet and basic presentations will be available through LLRS/ITS facilities on campus, not from within the Faculty itself - the exception being the Faculty's Stodent Browsers based in studios which will support e-mail and internet access.

Module Learning Strategies
Take part in seminars and attend lectures looking at methods of research and effective ways to utilize them by way of a team project.
Produce a personal SWOT analysis, in which you will begin to analyse your skills
And their appropriateness in managing design projects
Take part in interim crits and seminars to evaluate your progress
Take part in workshops involving team activities, presentation market awareness.
Module Indicative Content
In this module you will be introduced to the role of design management within the design process and market knowledge in formulating effective design solutions.
You will examine the design management role within initial research, analysing target markets, formulation of design teams, the importance of both primary and secondary research within the design process. Emphasis will be placed upon key skills required within the discipline including time and project management, teams, leadership and communication of ideas.
