Module Details
ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
The module will be assessed by an online class test set on a Pass/Fail basis. This exam will address all of the LOs 1 -5.
To achieve a pass in the online class test the student must achieve a mark of 70%.

All students will have the opportunity to resit the online class test, where again there will be a Pass/Fail set at 70%

There is no compensation available for this module.

Additional Assessment Details
Students will be provided with formative assessment feedback as they progress through the module.
LEARNING STRATEGIES
The course will be separated into weekly folders. Each weekly folder will comprise a set of teaching materials (this will include course hand-outs and practitioner sources). Regular milestone tasks provide formative assessment opportunities and allow students to monitor their progress.

Scheduled Learning and Teaching Activities: (3 hours)
1 hour telephone tutorials
2 hours scheduled discussion boards

Guided Independent Study: (147 hours) This will be made up of:
a) supplementary reading and research
b) independent note taking
c) preparation for online tests
d) online and email based tasks and exercises

The content of the module conforms to the Money Advice Service Quality Framework for Individuals for Money Advice at Adviser and Caseworker level.
These are:

• Money and debt legal advice and casework (SFJIB12)
• Manage personal caseload (SFJHA5)
• Provide continuing support to clients (SFJBF2)
• Manage Legal Advice Cases (SFJ1A2)

SPECIAL ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Students must have a minimum of a 12 months experience in the delivery or supervision of a money advice provision immediately prior to joining the award.
