The content in this module addresses all National Occupation Standards for Advice Work, including initial contact, support work and advice work.
ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Examination (30%) - Learners will sit three MCQ Examinations (each 30 minutes) that will make up this assessment grade, one in Week 6, the second in Week 10, and the final in week 14 of the programme. These MCQ Examinations will be online and will review the learners understanding of the content of the course. (Learning Outcomes 1 and 3)



Portfolio of Professional Evidence (70%) - Learners will produce multiple pieces of evidence to create a Portfolio of Professional Evidence, including a poster presentation, short video reflection, analysis of multiple case studies and a standard financial statement. (Learning Outcomes 1, 2, 3 and 4)
LEARNING STRATEGIES
This module will be delivered through online contact sessions, supported by interactive asynchronous learning materials.

Learners will be expected to attend the online sessions that have been designed to support their engagement with the course materials. They will then be expected to engage with the learning materials provided on the VLE (asynchronously). The content delivered through the online sessions and learning materials will enable the learner to complete the assessments, with formative feedback opportunities built into the module.

This module is designed for anyone wanting to work in the field of money and debt advice, or more generally in advice work. As such, the module has been designed to cover all National Occupation Standards for Advice Work, including initial contact, support work and advice work.
