Module Indicative Content
The module conforms to National Occupational Standards SFJIB27 and SFJIB30, and includes:
The history and background of UK immigration legislation.
An overview of the immigration system/rules.
Government policy on immigration and asylum.
Naturalisation and British citizenship.
Right of free movement for EAA nationals.
Rights of non-EEA nationals with regard to entry clearance requirements, permission to work and study.
Seeking asylum - the asylum application procedure for adults and families.
Support for unaccompanied asylum seeking children.
Failed asylum seekers.
Refugee status.
