Independent Study in support of your project work. You will need to undertake a. number of activities when not involved in taught or
participation sessions. These will include researching and documenting your practical project; pre and post production work for your
project; the execution of your production and the preparation of your work for assessment.

Module Indicative Content
You will be given the opportunity and experience of working on an external project, which may be in the form of a
competition and/or live brief with an industrial client.
You should consider way in which a creative idea is influenced by the external partner's limitations and specific design constarints. Supported by market and visual research, you will be required to generate a range of ideas and use creative design methods developed over the previous levels of the course, to meet the requirements of a set project.
You should compile a visual report outlining the whole process involved and evaluate the process undertaken.

Note This is a 15 credit module and it is important to ensure you chose an external project which is achievable in the time allocated

Module Additional Assessment Details
Produce a brief summary report ( bound ) all dialogue with the external client and how this has affected the planning and execution of the brief (communication) 25% module mark (application)
Show clear evidence of research into the audience scheduling format aspect ratio for the needs of the external client (analysis)
Show all designs methodology and preparation for production (problem soving)
Produce a finished animation sequence with all relevant parameters cleary stated in the report (application + problem soving)
Present the finished animation to the external client in the desired format and aspect ratio (Working with others)
