MODULE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1. Co-ordinate and or collaborate to deliver an effective presentation event as the culmination of your studies and to promote your animation outcomes in adherence to appropriate professional standards.
2. Generate appropriate promotional Information and materials to provide optimum exposure of your animation work.
3. Demonstrate clearly your practical and, or theoretical expertise in the form of a summary account of your learning journey - highlighting key moments within the broader context of your individual creative and career goals.
4. Engage in self-reflection and dialogue to provide a commentary on your personal learning journey and offer future planning.
MODULE ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
Presentation Event Documentation - links to outcomes 1 & 2 – taking the form of either a written visual report, or audio-visual artefact of equivalent weighting - represented 50% of the overall assessment grade.
Course Reflective - links to learning outcomes 3&4 - taking the form of a viva - 20-minute formal recorded dialogue- represented 50% of the overall assessment grade.
MODULE INDICATIVE CONTENT
Module will be independently driven with students organising and negotiating use of facilities, support, and technologies.
The Presentation component of this module will take the form of a designed event conducted both in person and, or online as appropriate/required by circumstances of participating individuals.
Students will be encouraged to promote own work and activities to gain interest and attention from relevant industry and animation ecosystem representatives – personal ownership of the event will be crucial as part of an ethos of professional practice and autonomy.
Student will be encouraged to invite audience feedback.
Opportunities for cross-level learning and knowledge exchange by participation of undergraduates and Alumni.
Opportunity for Live Q+A will form one basis for feedback and creative dialogue in preparation for ‘real-world’ events as students exit to industries and animation ecosystems.
Course Learning journey reflection will give the student the opportunity to consider the experience of the whole course and provide considered feedback regarding their attainment, progress, and future trajectory.¿
