Indicative Content
There is a misconception that Entrepreneurship is only about starting your own business. In today's environment where there is aggressive competition, employees are expected to show an entrepreneurial streak, ie, taking onus of the jobs that they do, projects that they lead, aimed towards creating innovative products and processes. Hence, this module is expected to help develop your awareness of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial leadership; utilising the underlying concepts of entrepreneurship to understand how businesses grow in both large companies and SMEs; what the associated risks are and what rewards and opportunities follow the risks undertaken.

In today’s business environment, large businesses harness individual entrepreneurial streaks. In this module, you will leverage the concepts of entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship to understand how businesses grow in both large and small/medium enterprise.
Learning Strategies
This module will use a mix of presentation techniques, videos, case studies and interactive tasks to explore the module content. Introducing key concepts through a variety of methods challenging you to explore the extent of entrepreneurial mindset and its implications towards organisational growth and leadership. Contact sessions will introduce core issues and techniques, and individual collaborative tasks will explore their application.
You will undertake ‘formative’ assessments during the module to help you monitor your learning and provide you and us with ongoing feedback on your progress, that helps you prepare for the ‘summative assessment(s) during or at the end of the module.
