Module Details
Module Indicative Content
Through this module you will be developing further the skills set identified in Work Based Assignment 1 and applying these to agreed tasks in your workplace. Through the report you will be required to explain how you have developed the appropriate skills and applied these to specific tasks identified by your employer/mentor. Although the skills set would vary between individuals and placements, the sorts of skills likely to be developed include practical habitat management and species survey skills, visitor management, interpretative tasks etc.

Work-based assignment/log preparation - 145 hours
You are required to draw on your 40 days work experience for completion of this module

The assignment will have a standard brief and format but the choice of topic will be as a result of negotiation with your employer/mentor and your tutor. The mentor's report must be passed, but will not contribute to the module grade.

A report including an appended log of work-based activity initialled by your mentor length 3000 words weighted at 100% (LO 1 -4)
