Formative feedback will take place in tutorials and by review of assignment plans prior to submission.
Module Indicative Content
This module provides an awareness of a range of environmental policies and an understanding of the principal environmental legislation affecting wildlife and conservation in Great Britain. It also provides an overview of pertinent international legislation. Industry speakers come in as part of the delivery to ensure that the latest topical issues are always dealt with.
There is a particular emphasis on the impacts and management of pollution within this module.
Module Learning Strategies
Lectures supported by tutorials 86hrs including laboratory sessions. Assignments to develop self-learning skills 214 hrs. Assignments take the form of a brief, broken down into tasks. These tasks are researched and the information presented in the form of a report.
