Module Indicative Content
In this module you will take part in and report on a project delivered at work. The project must involve the use of resources to deliver the aims. It can be a practical conservation activity, a survey, a construction project or a public orientation project. It would also preferably require some form of partnership in either its funding or delivery. Project examples could include habitat creation/management. Improvements to public access, development of interpretation materials etc.
Module Additional Assessment Details
3000-word report on the project to include reflection on development of all work based learning modules weighted at 80% (LOs 1 - 4)
Student conference presentation (10 minutes) weighted at 20% (LOs 3 & 4)
An employer's/supervisor's report pass/fail weighted at 0%
Additional Assessment Details (including formative feedback / assessment):
Formative feedback will take place in tutorials and by review of assignment plans prior to submission.

Tutorials - 10 hours
Project delivery/report - 290 hours
A minimum of 40 days work placement is required.
The project will be instigated and overseen by your employer/supervisor in discussion with your tutor to ensure it meets both work objectives and assessment criteria.
