Indicative Content
You will be introduced to the concept that good leadership is at the heart of any successful organisation and decisions made will impact both internal and external stakeholders. In the sustainable society, leadership attributes are an essential element when determining appropriate actions to ensure sustainable and measurable impact. You will learn about the issues and difficulties facing leaders such as legal and ethical considerations whilst maintaining a profitable business. You will investigate opportunities for social impact and identify the leadership skills needed, negotiation, diplomacy, the art of great communication as well as the social and political context for leadership.

In a sustainable society, courageous leadership is essential when balancing the needs of firms, stakeholders and the environment. In this module, you will explore the legal and ethical challenges leaders face whilst maintaining a profitable business.
Learning Strategies
This module will use a mix of presentation techniques, videos, case studies and interactive tasks to explore the module content. Introducing key concepts through a variety of methods challenging you to explore different approaches to Leadership Strategy & Social Impact. Contact sessions will introduce core issues and techniques, and individual collaborative tasks will explore their application.
You will undertake ‘formative’ assessments during the module to help you monitor your learning and provide you and us with ongoing feedback on your progress, that helps you prepare for the ‘summative assessment(s) during or at the end of the module.
