Element 2: Individual 1500-word Report – weighting 60% (LOs 2 & 3) discussing change management in organisations to include its impact on improving organisational performance.

Learning Strategies
The learning strategy for the module requires students to commit 200 learning hours of which there will be 48 hours of tutor-led learning and 152 hours of independent and self-directed study.¿

The module will use a blended-learning approach, incorporating in-class tutor led sessions and support, individual problem-solving and self-directed learning. All the materials – including learning materials and independent learning materials – will be provided.¿You will undertake formative assessments during the module to help you monitor your learning and provide you and us with ongoing feedback on your progress, that helps you prepare for the summative assessment at the end of the module.¿

This module will draw on interdisciplinary theory and research from the field of management. Specific attention will be given to the study of organisations as social systems; the dynamics of change and survival in organisations; and the relationships between organisations and their environments. Other topics covered will include enhancing personal and organisational effectiveness, improving decision-making skills, and resolving conflicts in the workplace.
