ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
It is pertinent to note, the EPA is prescribed by the Apprenticeship Standard.
For full details of assessment, please refer to the Operations Manager End-Point Assessment Plan: Operations manager / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
The End-Point Assessment (EPA) for the Operations or Departmental Manager Apprenticeship standard (ST0385) is designed to evaluate an apprentice's competence in their role.
Assessment Methods:
The EPA comprises two distinct assessment methods:
1. Project Proposal, Presentation, and Questioning (assessments 1 & 2 listed above)
o Involves the apprentice developing a project proposal, delivering a presentation, and responding
to questions.
o Evaluates the application of KSBs in real-world scenarios.
o Graded as Fail, Pass, or Distinction.
2. Professional Discussion Underpinned by a Portfolio of Evidence (assessments 1 & 2 listed above)
o Assesses KSBs through a structured discussion based on the portfolio.
o Graded as Fail, Pass, or Distinction.
Overall Grading: The apprentice's performance across both assessment methods determines the final apprenticeship grade: Fail, Pass, or Distinction.
