Part 1: DBA thesis Part 2: Oral exam (Viva-voce) 100% 50,000 words coverning Learning Outcomes 1-6
Indicative Content
At this research project stage, you are expected to carry out an investigation that makes an original contribution to knowledge within your professional practice. You will implement the approved research proposal from the research development stage, but also, in consultation with your supervisors, be prepared to extend and adjust the same.
Web Descriptor
By the end of the DBA journey, the candidate will have enhanced analytical and critical skills to develop on their professional management practice. They will be able to questions and challenge received wisdom in business and management arena, and consider how learning is translated into management practice, and practice into business and management theory.
Learning Strategies
Regular supervisory meetings with first and second supervisor. Oral/written formative feedback from supervisors on draft chapters, research tool design, data analysis, etc. Presentation at research seminars and conferences.
