Indicative Content
The core management consultancy project will be the culmination of your programme of study. The key focus of this module will be the identification and resolution of a contemporary issue faced by an organisation. You will work alongside the organisation to identify and address the issue faced. The module enables the selection of an award-relevant project and can be based on current or previous work experience OR address an issue presented by an organisation. This is your opportunity to further develop key employability skills such as project management, relationship building, inter-cultural management, consultancy and teamwork, as well as practically apply many of the concepts you've studied during your degree. It will also offer an opportunity to engage with organisations operating in a different cultural context, through a residential visit.

Through this consultancy project you will gain valuable experience of working with key stakeholders and conducting primary research, through tasks such as interviews, focus groups and customer surveys.
Web Descriptor
This module provides the opportunity to take learning from your degree and create implementable recommendations for your selected organisation. You will build a report of your project activity and evaluate the project, followed by a critical reflection on practical experiences gained, and the impact on your continued professional development. You will be investigating real local, national and international organisations.
Learning Strategies
This module will focus on key aspects of identifying the key business issues within the context of the wider business environment for the organisation and how to research and develop an implementable solution. It will introduce key concepts through a variety of presentation methods, including case-studies of local, national and international organisations, and using analytical tools to identify options to resolve these business issues.

-Face-to-face and online live webinars to take the form of tutorials involving opportunities for group discussion and presentation, flipped-classroom opportunities, further groupwork and case study analysis

Guided independent study, to consist of:
-Accessing additional online content such as videos and presentations
-Independent reading to consolidate knowledge gained in the formal teaching
-Reflective Log

You will undertake ‘formative’ assessments during the module to help you monitor your learning and provide you and us with ongoing feedback on your progress, that helps you prepare for the ‘summative assessment(s) during or at the end of the module.
