Module Details
Module Additional Assessment Details
A full performance that is the culmination of a continuous assessment of your individual input into the rehearsal process, and your ability to faithfully reproduce for the stage the characterisation created throughout the rehearsal process. This also includes your working relationships / teamwork with the production Director, Choreographer and fellow cast members, and your ability to reflect and critically evaluate your role as part of the team(s). (LO 1 - 4. 100%)

Formative assessment
Sharing of areas of research as required for the project in group discussions, showing skills of evaluation and the ability to navigate through the challenges of working as part of a team in order to ensure the success of your production
Module Indicative Content
In this module you will develop the skills of the performer within the Musical Theatre genre, paying particular attention to combining all three disciplines of acting, singing and dancing (working as a 'triple threat' performer) in front of a typically live paying audience, in a full scale production of a chosen musical piece.

Irrespective of the size of your `role', you will be expected to commit to the rehearsal process and performance(s) in a manner reflective of the industry standards and practices.

You will be continually assessed on your process and performance throughout the entire rehearsal period and on your performance application throughout the run of the performance(s).

Your ability to work in a conscientious, supportive, committed manner - embracing etiquette, dedication, focus, research and ability to take direction / advice - will all be considered, together with the ability to faithfully reproduce for the stage the performance role that has been created, explored and delivered in the rehearsal process.

You will demonstrate evaluation of the rehearsal process through your response in group discussions, showing your ability to take responsibility for your participation in the project / production (the audition process). You will reflect on the journey through the creative process and must address the practical considerations you face in preparing, with others, for the application and commitment to the performance, as well as the challenges of working on the selected production material (theory into practice). Alongside this, you will provide evidence of extensive research and share this will peers and other team members, to demonstrate your understanding and appreciation of the process of mounting a full length, theatrical production.
