Module Special Admissions Requirements
The learner must be employed in an instructional role in a Cisco local/regional academy and have completed: Concepts of Distributed Data Structures, Concepts of Data Path Selection, passed CCNA. This module is charged at the Local Academy training fee rate as per the support contract.

Module Learning Strategies
The module is:
- Self managed learning using on-line material
- Formative on-line multiple choice tests, relating to each of the modules
- The learner is expected to have read through the on-line course material and have 50% of the lab experiments prior to attending the course. These will be supplied electronically 10 weeks before the course start date. It is expected that the learner puts in approximately 2 hours self-study per day of the course and 10.5 hours of self-study in each of the 10 weeks prior to the start of the course.
- The module will be delivered over 5 days with normally 7 hours of class contact per day. Each day will typically comprise two 1 hour lectures to supplement on-line material and 5 hours practical experimentation giving a weekly total of 10 hours lectures and 25 hours labs/tutorials;

A 50% coursework typically an online assessment or case study of approximately 1500 words (Learning Outcome 1).
