A practical (1 hour) not in examination conditions weighted at 30%. Learning Outcome 3.
Module Indicative Content
This module introduces concepts around LAN switched networks and campus architectures including VLANs, Network Security, Wide Area Networks, Network Management and Access Control Lists. It also covers an introduction to Wireless Networks based on 802.11.

This module is delivered as part of a Foundation degree.

Module Special Admissions Requirements
To have studied level 1 module CE00126-1 Introduction to Networking with LANs and WANs or level 2 module or equivalent.
Disqualifying combination - other modules that cover preparation for stages 3 and 4 of the CISCO CCNA certification.
