Module Learning Strategies
A variety of learning strategies will be employed, including lectures (1-n) 1.5, practical and tutorial sessions (1-20) 1.5.
Module Additional Assessment Details
Two assignments weighted 40% and 60%.

Assignment one will involve the production of a spreadsheet and a report (40%).

Assignment 2 will involve the creation of a database and associated documentation (50%) and the delivery of a presentation using MS PowerPoint (10%)

Both assignments will cover learning outcomes 1 and 2.

Module Indicative Content
Develop an in-depth knowledge of generic Commercial Software Applications with a primary emphasis on business standard packages for:-

- Word Processing (e.g. MS Word)
- Spreadsheets (e.g. MS Excel)
- Database (e.g. MS Access)
- Presentation software (e.g. MS PowerPoint)
