Module Indicative Content
Information theory, decision making, organisation theory, systems theory, planning and control within business, different types of information systems (Executive Information Systems, Expert Systems, Geographical Information Systems, Decision Support Systems).

Multiple-choice class test 50% (Learning outcome 1)
Coursework 50%. Develop a prototype interface for an MIS (approx 5 screens and 1000 words). (Learning outcomes 2 and 3)
