Module Additional Assessment Details
A learning portfolio weighted at 100% (Learning Outcome 1) 7,500 words maximum.
Module Indicative Content
An agreed field of study will be identified which will include a learning contract drawn together with the module leader (supervisor). This will identify the relevant negotiated learning outcomes, the learning process for their achievement, and the assessment strategy.
Module Learning Strategies
The assessment will be by you producing a folder that will include a series of statements about the skills you have gained from your life and/or work experiences and will be augmented by one-to-one interview/discussions with a supervisor which will be used to identify and agree a field of study, a learning contract with learning outcomes, identified process and an assessment strategy. There will be regular (two weekly) meetings with the supervisor to monitor progress.
Within this module you will be introduced to and/or be able to develop your:
- Intellectual skills
- Communication
- Problem solving
- Personal skills for lifelong learning
This module willl run as required.

Must be enrolled on Level 1, but with special circumstances that require remote study or study outside the normal academic calendar.
