Module Learning Strategies
There will be 6 lectures to introduce the key concepts of web design and development. The lab sessions will be broken up into 1 hour of web standards practical, 1 hour Javascript practical and 1 hour workshop to support the underlying knowledge and skills required to complete the module and will be facilitated with booklets, course texts and the internet. Within lab sessions students will undertake scripting sessions, software familiarisation, design activities, and a look at the wider perspective of architecture and organisation.

Module Additional Assessment Details
Assignment (100%)
The assignment will involve the design and creation of a series of web pages to show skills in web design and development.
The web site will be supported by a written report of 1,500 words.
