The Project Handbook
Staffordshire University has subscriptions to electronic book services such as Safari Tech Books, Ebrary and Netlibrary. There are titles in each of the collections that will support students studying this module. Staffordshire University has subscriptions to IEEExplore, ACM Digital Library, Elsevier Science Direct and Infotrac Computer Database all offering full text electronic access to journals and conference proceedings
Module Learning Strategies
Regular (4 weekly) review meetings (1 hour) with Academic tutor (1:1)
Self directed study
The project will be carried out in the work-place. Students will be able to refer to a detailed project handbook. Additionally, the student will be guided by a work based mentor who will have been involved in the selection of an appropriate work place based project for the student to undertake.
Module Special Admissions Requirements
Students must have studied Level 1 modules relating to their award or have an equivalent background.
Students must be in related employment.
