Module Indicative Content
This module will further develop the skills in the use of application software. The overall aim is to enable the design and development of an application which involves the integration of a database, spreadsheet and word processing package. Topics covered will include:

Spreadsheet Macros,
Multi-table database design and development,
Query language processing,
VBA to manipulate and transfer data between packages

50% - Practical Class Test, 1.5 hours, covering:
Spreadsheet macros and Database manipulation (learning outcomes 1 and 2)
50% - Assignment involving the design and development of an integrated application (learning outcome 3)
