Comprising
A project proposal weighted at 10% (1000 words) - Learning Outcome 1
Midpoint interview weighted at 10% - Presentation of the research (no more than 10 slides, 10 minutes plus questions) - learning outcomes 2 and 3
Formal Report weighted at 60% (5000 words) - All learning outcomes
Demonstration/Presentation of artefact (20 mins plus questions) weighted at 20% - All learning outcomes
Module Learning Strategies
This module will have associated with it a Negotiated Learning Contract. The purpose of the contract is to define how you will receive support, the specific award related learning outcomes that will need to be met, the assessment specification and marking criteria and a list of texts that might prove useful.
This is a student centred project, but you can expect regular support from both your academic supervisor and work based mentor. In terms of academic supervision, the contact time allows for around 15 minutes per week and two,30 minute scheduled formative review sessions. There will also be a midpoint interview which has both formative and summative purpose.
