Module Indicative Content
The project aims to provide an opportunity for you to undertake a significant project that integrates aspects of modules studied as part of the award. This will involve the development of a software and/or hardware artefact together with accompanying documentation. There should also be a report on the process that went into the creation of the artefact, including review of current literature, critical appraisal of the methods used, discussion of alternative strategies and a conclusion.
After counselling and informal discussions with potential supervisors, you will select a project, receive approval and be allocated a supervisor.
The responsibilities of the supervisor(s) include giving the necessary guidance to you, ensuring that you have access to the appropriate resources, and dealing with any general difficulties that you may encounter in the project period.
Before the detailed project work commences, you are required to produce a project proposal which will include project title, background information and plan of work for consideration prior to a formal project specification being developed with and approved by your supervisor
You will produce a satisfactory report and will make a formal presentation of your work.
