Module Learning Strategies
This is a student centred project, but students can expect regular support from their academic supervisor and possibly a work based mentor. Project proposal: Students will receive introductory guidance to the project from the module leader and will create a draft project proposal including draft literature review and detailed project plan. Following submission of the draft proposal, students will be allocated a project supervisor who will engage regularly in a means and at time intervals negotiated with the student. The time allowed for supervision is the equivalent of 15 minutes per week though this will usually be organised as email/telephone communiqué with a number of formative reviews. Supervision may be more intense during the early weeks in order for the project to receive approval in a timely fashion. There will be a mid-point interview with the second assessor which will have both formative and summative purpose.
