Module Special Admissions Requirements

Module Texts
Health Informatics is a dynamic and quickly changing field of healthcare, recommended texts may therefore need to change to reflect the current situation. A list of recommended texts will therefore be provided in the Project Handbook for each year. Students will also seek out specific texts appropriate to their specific project.
Module Resources
As appropriate and as agreed in the Work-based learning agreement.
Module Learning Strategies
The VLE will contain some introductory material which students can work through. Once they have a project idea, a suitable supervisor will be allocated.
The time allowed for supervision is the equivalent of 15 minutes per week though this will usually be organised as email/telephone communique with a number of formally scheduled formative reviews (at least 2). There will be a mid-point interview with the second assessor which will have both formative and summative purpose.
