Demonstration and viva 20% (Learning outcomes 1-6)
Marking will be partitioned between elements for groupwork and elements that reflect individual contribution.
Module Indicative Content
Students will form a software development team and play various different roles in the production of a substantial software product to commercial or near commercial standards.
Students will develop and display their professional engineering skills, both technical and managerial. Each student will have the opportunity to exercise leadership as part of the project roles they will play. Emphasis is placed on group management and leadership, the management of project and the design and implementation of a software product. The overall theme of the engineering of software products to defined quality criteria will pervade.

Module Learning Strategies
Students in small groups will form a software development team and play various different roles including leadership and management in the production of a substantial software product to commercial or near commercial standards.
