Module Indicative Content
Students will critically explore key developments in the creation of modern day surface pattern. The emphasis will be on the role which cultural change, new technologies and commercial demands in particular, have impacted on a range of product based artefacts-ceramics, fashion, interior design and industrial design.
Module Learning Strategies
Students will be taught through traditonal lecture and seminar patterns. The lectures will provide basic information and the seminars used for critical discussion and evaluation.
