The delivery pattern for this module is flexible with each centre choosing a method suitable for the students involved. This module is intended to facilitate the development of transferable skills as well as providing students with useful guidance with respect to the use and effect of Computing and IT in Society. Wherever it is studied, it is anticipated that independent study will play a major role and that some part of the module will be used to assist students in the development of skils which help with this.

10 hours of small group tutorials will take place. There will be one per week for 10 weeks.
10 hours of lab sessions with 20 students will take place - 1 per week for 10 weeks.
Weeks 6 and 12 will be PDP weeks. Tutors will decide how best to use the 2 hours of contact time available for that week for their students. The room be available to students twice each week regardless of whether a tutor is present or not.
