Design of multimedia projects for CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, Kiosks etc by including
* Creating animation
* Projector format
* Interactivity
* Introduction fo multimedia scripting language such as Lingo
* Multimedia Methods
* Multimedia Evaluation
* Managing media files for delivery to CD, DVD and kiosks
* Methods for managing memory in relation to sound, graphics, animation, digital
movie and optimising files for CD-ROMs as well as hardware and system considerations

Module Learning Strategies
The lecture will support the two lab sessions. The lab sessions will run in groups of 70 with 2 members of staff in attendance. The lab sessions will support the underlying knowledge and skills required to complete the module, and will be facilitated with booklets, course texts (if any) and the internet. Group discussions will also take place in these sessions.
