Module Indicative Content
Design of multimedia projects for the web by including:
- Comparison of different uses of multimedia on the web
- Graphics and Animation for the web
- Web Multimedia Design
- Introduction To Streaming Media and codecs
- Introduction to a web multimedia scripting language such as action script
- Panoramas / Flash Video
- Web Multimedia Testing
- Technical Issues ? compression and bandwidth.
Module Learning Strategies
The lecture will support the two lab sessions. The lab sessions will support the underlying knowledge and skills required to complete the module, and will be facilitated with booklets, course texts, and the internet. The lab sessions will cover topics such as: learning applications, design, media resources, implementation, and testing. Group discussions will also take place in these sessions. (1:n) (1:20)2
