Design of multimedia projects for the web by including
- Creating animation
- Streaming Media
- Introduction to mobile multimedia
- Interactivity
- Introduction to a web multimedia scripting language such as action script
- Panoramas
- Multimedia Evaluation
- Managing media files for delivery to the web.
- Compression and optimisation
Module Additional Assessment Details
Assignment (70%) - Learning Outcome 1, 2, 4
Test in exam period, 45 minutes (30%) - Learning outdomes 1 and 3.
Module Learning Strategies
The lecture will support the two lab sessions. The lab seessions will run in groups of 70 with 2 members of staff in attendance. The lab sessions will support the underlying knowledge and skills required to complete the module, and will be facilitated with booklets, course texts (if any) and the internet. Group discussions will also take place in these sessions.
