Module Learning Strategies
32 lecture hours and 40 hours of tutorial/practical sessions with the first 8 weeks having 2 lectures and 1 tutorial per week. The remaining 16 weeks will be 1 lecture and 1 x 2hr lab based tutorial per week.
The first 8 weeks will be used to facilitate the knowledge and understanding needed for the theory part of the module focusing on areas such as design, methods and user experience issues. These elements are essential in students determining an effective set of design requirements for any subsequent implementation to satisfy. The remaining classes will be used for the technical side of the module and focus on implementation approaches and strategies, as well as following the chosen UX Method in the implementation process. Throughout the module group discussions will take part in both lectures and tutorial sessions.
