Be on a recognised web award or web half award, or have completed sufficient web modules at level 1 or 2, or been at a project based mainly on web applications.
Module Additional Assessment Details
100% assignment - group work with individual components
A group project in which an inter-disciplinary cooperative team develop a substantive web based application using recognised design principles, recognised coding methods, and recognised testing methods. The applications produced will be reflected on taking into account business needs.

Group discussions will take part in the lecture slot, and will include invited speakers from business and web development. The tutorial slots will be used to facilitate the web project and include group discussions, group work, presentations of designs, content ideas and implementations and reflections.
Module Indicative Content
This module allows students from all areas of web development (design, programming, enterprise, media) to draw requirements from a company or case study to design, create and evaluate a web application. The project will be conducted in a group building on previous knowledge and research into their own area of web development.
