The lecture will support the two lab sessions. The lab sessions will support the underlying knowledge and skills required to complete the module, and will be facilitated with booklets, course texts, and the internet. Group discussions will also take place in these sessions. (1:20)
Module Additional Assessment Details
100% Assignment assessing Learning Outomes 1-4
The assignment will consist of a database backed web application for an appropriate domain that complies to the relevant standards including W3C Recommendations on mark-up notations. The practical artefact will be supported by a report.
The report of 2500 Words will detail, the design of the web application, an evaluation of the web application, provide a critical reflection, and a comparison of .NET with an alternative platform for developing web applications.
