The lecture will support the two lab sessions. The lab sessions will support the underlying knowledge and skills required to complete the module, and will be facilitated with booklets, course texts (if any) and the internet. Group discussions will also take place in these sessions.
Related to independant study students will use this time to research topics and develop their assignment.

Assignment 50% (Learning outcomes 3,4). The assignment will create a web service artefact that will be documented within a report.
Exam 50% - length 1.5 hours (Learning outcomes 1, 2)
