Module Additional Assessment Details
Coursework 100%. The coursework will consist of a report and practical artefact.

Students will write a report of around 2500 words detailing design and implementation approaches taken in creation of a practical artefact. The report will specifically highlight design, ethical, technical standards, legal and social issues of mobile technology, and application within the students work. Artefact testing must be thorough with the student reflecting critically on results obtained.

The practical artefact will be a small application of 15 screens (such as a news application or tourist guide) for running on devices such as a PDA, mobile phone, or desktop machine. Such an application would need to specifically address informational and media constraints well. (Learning Outcomes 1, 2 and 3).
