Module Additional Assessment Details
A body of coursework (100%) that will typically include:
A project proposal (LO 1 - 8)
A reflective project log (LO 1, 2 ,3, 4, 5, 8)
A portfolio containing evidence of research, ideas generation, design/creative development, presentation materials and professional standard finished artifact/visual communication (L O 1 - 8)
Module Indicative Content
This module will provide you with an opportunity to undertake a negotiated programme of personal creative research and development leading to a substantial body of work. You will exercise appropriate research, creative, cultural, design or craft skills in demonstrating your ability to synthesise your acquired knowledge, experience and expertise. The theme of the project will be determined by you in negotiation with your supervisory team. You will be expected to define its subject and context within the spectrum of international creative and cultural practices and markets, and to identify and agree a schedule for its completion. The project may where applicable involve dialogue and communication with an external partner/company.
The chosen direction for your project should be closely allied to your career path and you would be expected where appropriate to exploit the knowledge and experience gained during work experience.

Independent practice in ideas generation, development, presentation and realisation
Attendance at group seminars and individual tutorials.
Liaison with an industry mentor
Independent use of learning resources on Blackboard
An appropriate level of assistance from relevant learning support staff in workshop practices.
