For each of the five competences this will comprise: a reflection (1500 words), an observation and additional evidence to demonstrate the specific competence elements.

Learning Outcomes 1-5
Module Indicative Content
This module requires students to develop their skills as a pioneer practitioner. They will undertake practice in their context and reflect on their practice in the five competences:
1. Personal Skills
2. Facilitation Skills
3. Leadership Skills
4. Community Skills
5. Ministry Skills
Drawing from reading and reflection, they will develop a theoretical and theological framework for ministry and hone their reflection skills through personal reflection and study and meeting regularly with a mentor.
Module Learning Strategies
300 hours, of which 10 will be face to face with the ministry mentor, 140 will be practice in the pioneer ministry context and the rest independent study. A learning agreement with be negotiated and agreed with the mentor. Additional support will be given as part of the teaching for other modules. Additional material to guide personal study will be provided through the MyCYM VLE.
