Module Details
INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module will require students to observe a pioneering project in a context different to their main
ministry context and interview a pioneer leader, to enable them to explore issues around pioneer
ministry. It will engage with theoretical and theological perspectives on reflective practice and
evaluation of ministry, and explore how these might be outworked and applied in practice in different
settings. Students will be asked to keep a journal reflecting on their own learning and responses to
interviewing a pioneer practitioner and observing a pioneer project. They will develop skills in reflective
practice and theological reflection, and in engaging in dialogue with other approaches to pioneer
ministry.
ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
A JOURNAL length 3000 WORDS weighted at 100%.

[Learning Outcomes 1-4]
