a) A 10 min presentation (equivalent 1000 words) to on a playwork session you delivered.
Learning Outcomes 1,2,3,4 (30%)

b) Write a reflective journal (3000 words) on the playwork session you discussed in your presentation.

Module Indicative Content
This module looks at the role of the Playworker and the place of play in a Church/community setting. It will explore the links between play, creativity and spirituality. Students will develop an understanding of the core skills needed to enrich and enhance play, whilst deepening their knowledge of the different types of play and the learning that takes place through it. The Playwork Principles will be applied to structured exercises and case study materials to encourage reflection and critical analysis of practice. The module will consider the value of a playwork curriculum to the nurture of children's spiritual development.

Module Learning Strategies
This module incorporates several inter-related learning strategies. The interactive learning groups will provide lectures and seminars involving a combination of group activities, student led work, simulations, skills practice, discussion etc. The independent study provides opportunity for reading, library based and online research.
