This module takes a widespread focus on the area of economics and its relation to business, so that students can learn about the essential elements and how these interact. In taking the module students will learn about markets and the key elements, principles of good economics, legal aspects, and risks. For the strategic reporting part of the module students will look back on these issues and analyse data in order they form a report that based on this context adds a future perspective by focusing on prediction and risk mitigation. The assessment being a strategic report will summarise to a simulated management the student’s interpretation on a current economic position to a predicted future one.
