Module Indicative Content
Using theoretical, practical and artistic skills in the particular area of theatre, performance and theatre arts that you have chosen, you will develop, through negotiation and prior agreement with your tutor, a practical project of between 20 and 30 minutes in length. This project will culminate in a performance, presentation, participatory workshop or other event appropriate to the context of your practical project aims. The project must be an original creative work and not just a new production of an existing play. (A re-imagining of a performance text may be allowed under certain circumstances.)

You can work as an individual or a duo. All assessment will be on an individual basis .

Following discussions and agreement between yourself and your supervising tutor, you will negotiate a programme of practical study and preparation which demonstrates and applies the knowledge, skills and experience and that you have gained on your Award. The project must not directly repeat or recycle creative work that you have already undertaken on the Award at Levels 4, 5 or 6.

You are expected to demonstrate high standards of research and self-organisation and professional standards of project management and presentation, working harmoniously with staff, peers and other team members.

You will present your final project in a designated performance space(s) negotiated with the Module tutor dependent on the content and context of the work.
