INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module is developed in direct link to the industry. You will be able to meet professionals of the field and have the opportunity to work in different genres, using different techniques and produce original material. You will be asked to combine all the practical and theoretical knowledge acquired in the previous modules.
The aim of the course is to enable you to understand and actively engage in addressing and resolving practical issues in relation to your acting for the screen. You will be asked to work as part of a team acquiring alternate positions and accomplishing different tasks, showing originality and innovation, while also focusing on the relation of every individual discipline to your acting evolvement and abilities.
Work with professionals from the field (directors, screenwriters etc.)
Create original scripts and/or adaptations
Work on devised material
Collaborate with your fellow students
Create your work and act in the studio and/or on location
Take different positions in the production process
Some of the content will be delivered in Greek from guest speakers’ experts in their fields. All reading materials will be in English

Assessment 1: the films will be accompanied by a script in the language of the performance and appropriate translation and subtitles in English if not performed in English
Assessment 2: this assessment will be done in English
LEARNING STRATEGIES
The module will employ a range of learning strategies, including:
Tutor led tutorials and lectures. Workshops in class, in the studio and on location in front of the camera to experience the difference between the two genres.
A range of learning strategies will be used to share practices and inform and develop independent projects.
Guided Independent Learning will be structured around the use of VLE to support wider reading.
Guided Independent Learning through reflective group analysis will be used to support students in their group devising processes.
Guided Independent Learning using video resources will be used to support creative thinking for group working.
Guided Independent Learning will be scheduled as self-led time on filming projects.
