Module Details
Module Learning Strategies
The learning strategies will require students to commit 150 learning hours of which 20 hours will consist of contact time.
The teaching strategies will employ a range of methods, including lectures, seminars, one to one tutorials and case study observation. Peer group discussion will allow students to share ideas and experiences.

Module Resources
Multi-media classroom resources, learning resource centre, internet, journals and access to tutor.

Module Indicative Content
This module will analyse the changing concept of inclusivity examining the historical perspective of a variety of political reports and legislative documents including EYFS. The students will examine the development of values, beliefs and stereotypes and how positive practice can be encouraged both nationally and internationally. The module is designed to challenge student's ideas about disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation and social difference and the potential impact that their own behaviour can have upon the children, their families and colleagues.
