A planned subject based lesson to be delivered to a group of students.
The assessment portfolio will contain an approved lesson plan, appropriate resources and a full evaluation of the planning, resources and delivery of a lesson and the effectiveness of the component parts.

Why subjects are important in the curriculum.
How subjects are taught to gain maximum effect.
Subject Pedagogy.
The Teaching and Learning process and how to engage with this as a teacher.
The role of planning in successful lesson delivery.
The role of resources in supporting learning.
Catering for individuals in education.
The role of assessment as a means of feedback and pupil improvement.
The role of evaluation in improving self performance.
