Module Learning Strategies
The focus of this module is to develop the candidate¿s ability to critically reflect and develop their own practice. In order to achieve this, they will be encouraged to seek feedback from different sources; peers, colleagues learners and their tutor.
The candidate will develop a portfolio of practice which can be used to evidence their commitment to professionalism in interviews and appraisals. To further develop their employability skills, candidates will be interviewed on their development over the course. They will aslo have to develop a clear action plan for their future personal and professional development.
Taught sessions featuring differing models of reflection will enable the candidate to utilise a framework for their critically informed reflection.
Module Indicative Content
The purpose of this unit is to enable the learner to understand and apply theories, principles and models of reflective practice top continuing personal and professional development. It enables the learner to understand their own development needs and engage in personal and professional development to improve their practice.
